Established by the merger of Silkroad Law Firm and Anchorite & Sage Law Firm on July 7, 2023, Silkroad, Anchorite & Sage Law Firm now has more than 100 practicing lawyers with offices in Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai and Shenzhen, and will open office in Hong Kong soon. We are a boutique law firm with the ability to provide legal services in all professional fields, covering a wide range of business areas such as domestic and overseas fund establishment, dispute resolution, equity investment, financing and mergers and acquisitions, capital market, intellectual property rights, international trade and anti-dumping, foreign investment and outbound investment, as well as general corporate legal counseling, etc.
Our core competitiveness lies in the strength of our collective intelligence and our devotion to maintaining a high-quality professional team. Most of our partners have worked for well-known international law firms before joining us. We have associates with international education background and long-term practicing experience in well-known domestic or overseas law firms. Specifically, the majority of our practitioners have strong academic background from prestigious universities, like Columbia University, Northwestern University, UCLA, Peking University, China University of Political Science and Law, etc., and long-term practicing experience in Hong Kong, Paris, Beijing and Shanghai, etc. Our professionals are multilingual, with fluency in Chinese as well as English, French, Japanese and Korean.

As recognition to our accomplishments in providing clients with high quality and cost-effective service, on August 8, 2023, the "Debtor's Equity Online Judicial Auction Enforcement Case" handled by Silkroad, Anchorite & Sage was listed on LegalOne Merits (Exemplary Cases). Before the merger, in January 2023, two large-scale investment disputes handled by Silkroad’s Dispute Resolution Team were listed on the LegalOne list. In November 2022, Silkroad was listed on The Legal 500 Asia Pacific as 2023 Recommended Firms in the area of Investment Funds. Silkroad was also awarded as “Law Firms of the Year – Asset Management” for three consecutive years from 2020 through 2022 by China Business Law Journal, and awarded as “Top 10 China Firms to Watch” by Asian Legal Business (ALB) in 2016 and 2018 respectively.
